We were not certain whether free accounts have full access to the plugin. The announcement does not specify a limit to the number of plans to purchase, and, therefore, before upgrading, go to open Settings, then Plugins, using your own account.
Two practical notes. The size of the attachment is 25 MB on the pricing page, and, therefore, such an arrangement would fit documents and photos, but not raw video. And because saved attachments reside on your personal drive, a modest mailbox remains slim when you verify that a file was received with success and then delete the initial email.
Self-Hosted Email Nextcloud Setups: What Changes and What Doesn't

Why It Is an App, Not a Mail Account
Nextcloud has an in-built Mail app based on IMAP, which is not available in Tuta. So Tuta built its own open-source web client into a special Nextcloud app. That is why Tuta does not appear as a regular account.
